Forget the sit-and-wait method. Speed up dry-down time by 20 to 30 percent* with the 17 ft (5.2 m) Vermeer TE1710 tedder. A unique hook tine design allows the tedder to pick up and spread large amounts of crop by creating a “bottoms-up” motion for even distribution and quick crop aeration.
The large, durable basket wheels with 5-bolt hubs offer ground contouring and flotation in the field and a smooth ride on the road. Plus, it includes the convenient maintenance and durability you’ve come to expect in Vermeer equipment. Vermeer TE1710: spread the word.
Vermeer TE1710 Tedder
Specially coiled hook tine design is flexible and rotates at a trailed angle.
Breakage is minimized with the trailed angle design. The hook gives a better grip on crop and allows operator to decrease rpm and helps minimize leaf loss while still dispersing the crop evenly for more consistent dry down. Hook tines provide a “bottoms-up” action to help keep wet crop on top. Comes with a 3-year limited warranty.
North American Built
Designed and built in North America
Designed and built for North American customers, right in North America. Vermeer engineers have studied the needs and wants of North American customer and then built a product to help suit their needs. Customers can also benefit from quicker lead times, more parts availability and dealers support.
Heavy Duty Frame
Solid-frame constructions with a radial pin clutch to protect drive components. Reinforced baler-style tongue.
Increased frame strength helps provide added durability.
Large Basket Tires
Need to get tire size here and say something about 5 bolt hub.
Strength and durability in the field and during transport
Large-diameter rotors work with hook tines
Allow operation with lower rotation speeds to evenly distribute crop. Baskets float independently to maintain consistent tedding.
Help prevent downed crop material from wrapping around the wheels. This minimizes buildup and damage to wheels and bearings cause by tightly wrapped crops.
